Located 5 minutes from Flamingo beach, you can find the peaceful and beautiful Playa Potrero, a Bay in the north part of the Guanacastecan Pacific coast.
Playa Potrero has an ideal location. It is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches of Guanacaste like Flamingo, Brasilito, Penca and Prieta, but is a secluded beach and does not have the crowds and noises that accompany other tourist beaches.
It is a perfect place to rest or to get involved in nature friendly activities. The warm waters are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sport fishing and kayaking. You could also enjoy calm walks in the beach, horse back riding, or sunbathe in the seaside.
The sunsets in Potrero are spectacular and very romantic. At the end of the beach you can find a small fisherman community that daily offers freshly caught fish and some small commerce.
